Things You Can Do to Stay Fresh This Summer
It’s already burning up outside.
And for those of you familiar with the Indian summer, you know it’s only going to get worse.
Apart from taking care of your grooming and going lighter and brighter, there’s more you can do that can easily make sure you stay fresh this summer.
Chop Your Hair Off…
…But do it right.
Trust me, from a guy who is getting his deliciously well groomed, and heavily worked on “man” bun cut for something easier to manage, it doesn’t matter how nice your long or medium length hair looks, in the summer, shorter is always better.
But there’s a correct way to go short. Joe Mills, the founder and head barber at Joe & Co. in London sat down with GQ India to discuss this very issue.
Essentially, make sure you buzz your hair up higher than usual, make sure you getting frequent trims, and start styling it right.
It’s easy to do and can be maintained by just about anyone.
Sunscreen and Moisturizers
A good sunscreen is ESSENTIAL!
I mean it.
I’ve been guilty of this, and I’m sure you have to.
Arrogantly thinking that you don’t need it because you’ve been exposed to sun all your life, and sunscreen is only for people who aren’t tough is just not smart.
So invest in something halfway decent to make sure your face stays halfway decent.
Moisturizers can also provide hydration to your face so if you live in a place that feels as if it’s a dessert (like Delhi), a good moisturizer is important.
Shaving The Right Way
Keeping a clean and clear face is the way to go in the summer.
It’s an easy way to make sure you don’t get beard dandruff (yes, it’s a thing).
Doing so with a product that will leave your face feeling refreshed and rejuvenated is just an added bonus.
Our Lemon and Ginger Shaving gel has antiseptic properties while our Tree Oil and Aloe Vera Shaving Gel and Post-Shave Balm hydrate and moisturize your face, while also giving you the smoothest shave of your life.
So this summer, be smart and do what you have to do to stay fresh.
